Reflect upon Ronald Takaki’s “Master Narrative” of American History and your own historical teachings/consciousness

It is less formal than the remaining assignments, but it is an opportunity to reflect upon your own experience with the history of the United States, your own historical consciousness, and/or your educational experience in general. In a minimum of 500 words, I would like you to share your own thoughts and analysis utilizing both prompts below: Reflect upon Ronald Takaki’s “Master Narrative” of American History and your own historical teachings/consciousness. In what ways have your experienced the “Master Narrative” in your own educational experience? Have Peter Hassler (“Lies of the Conquistadors”) and David Stannard (American Holocaust Chapter 2) challenged any of your own ideas about Native American/American Indian History? Why or Why not?
