Yesenia Ayra Appeal for an Exception to the Nursing Admissions Criteria To whom this may concern, I am writing this letter to request you to give me the opportunity to be accepted for the Nursing program and let me have the chance to demonstrate that I can be a good student academically and skillfully to accomplish my dreams and goals to become a Nurse and now more than ever after all I’ve been through. During the year 2014 and 2015 my grandfather was critically ill with liver cancer, throughout the process of his disease he required my support and help for everything from taking him to the doctors appointments for treatment to be up all night with his chills and symptoms of his illness. At the time I was unable to study and focus for my exams. I would like to have the opportunity; I had promised my grandfather that I would accomplish my dream to become a nurse, who has been my goal for years, and to finish my education. As part of this big multicultural city with many circumstances, beliefs and many alternatives, Nursing is what I chose to be. Please I wish that you take into consideration my apology and let me continue my dream to become a Nurse in the most wonderful and knowledgeable school in Miami Dade. I look forward to hearing a reply from you soon, and thank you for taking the time to read my letter
