FAMILY ASSESSMENT

You are a social worker employed in a hospital as a Clinical Social Work. As you may have read in the news, Prince William, heir to the British throne has recently married Kate and the two are expecting a baby. Prince William has been the focus of much attention since he was born and particularly at the death of his Mother, Princess Diana. It has come to our attention that he is very distressed and many of his childhood issues have resurfaced as he faces fatherhood. He wants to be a good father and wants to deal with his issues so that he can put them behind him when his child is born. As you can imagine it would be difficult for Prince William to deal with these issues secretly in England so he is quietly coming for treatment and he has heard about your work and selected you to be his social worker and to provide his assessment and treatment!
You will be reading the book “WILLIAM AND HARRY” to obtain information about Prince William and his past with his family for your assessment and treatment plan.  You will have to take a bit of poetic license that you obtained this information from William or from any of the family members as you like (instead of from a book), but try not to make up information…use the information in the book. You will observe the family then prepare a multi-dimensional assessment report.
